I have very fine hair and bought this because I thought it would be the perfect curler for me. My hair isn't very long, so I wrap the curlers as close to the scalp as possible. Even with my thin hair, very fine strands, it was very painful to get the wand back through the web. Then I thought I would sleep on them as they are soft. nope It was like someone was pulling my hair all night. The most uncomfortable thing I've ever used. When I took the curlers off, which is pretty easy, yes, they curled well, but they looked so frizzy. My hair NEVER gets frizzy. So. I will probably never use these again. They work. and maybe they work better with long hair, but they definitely didn't suit me. At least not the end result. It just wasn't worth the pain.
