I have 2 other bottles from other brands that cost a few/several dollars more and this one is of comparatively lower quality. I haven't used it in the same way others have, so I can't say if it's better or worse. I can tell you that the lock is not as good as the others and as I said the quality is really cheap. I steep the fruit and pour it into a hydro flask for it to do its job. Overall I'm happy with it. I don't understand why they lined the mouth like that, but then again I'm so used to the other two. I'd say give it a try and if you're not happy I'd definitely invest in one for a few extra bucks. When I turned it over it didn't leak, but there was also no seal so it could be changed in use. I just don't see it being durable if used all the time.
