Save money for something better.

When unpacking I noticed a strong, unpleasant smell of glue or paint. The pieces appear to be held together with glue, which explains the smell. There are remnants all over the planks of the bench that look awful. Assembly wasn't difficult but I can say it will fall apart with a little use. The description says it can hold up to 280 pounds, but I'd be surprised if it could hold half that. shoes, but it's an aesthetic nightmare with very little functionality.
