I'm really bad at packing but this was easy to put together. However, when trying to make sure all the screws were tight because we would be sitting on them, I easily ripped off a few screw holes and had to buy wood glue to make it more durable. This is a really cute bench with handy internal storage and the shoe section has room for 4 pairs of shoes. I suppose you could fit more if you stack them on top of each other a bit. After a few months of use it was very wobbly. Not sure how much longer it will last. I sit on it every few days to put my shoes on when needed. But I wouldn't buy it again. I would spend more money for something more reliable.

Great for: people with small feet, plants, children. Do you want something fast and cheap. Bad for: Those who value high quality finishes. people with big feet. Some joints are not completely black. When unpacking I noticed a strong, unpleasant smell of glue or paint. The pieces appear to be held together with glue, which explains the smell. There are remnants all over the planks of the bench that look awful. Assembly wasn't difficult but I can say it will fall apart with a little use.
