What I like: The last shelf is pretty solid, we wanted somewhere to put boots and shoes and it serves that purpose. It's durable enough to slip on your boot and tie your laces. What I didn't like: The terrible instructions made assembly very difficult. For reference: all four legs must be properly aligned; The instructions do not mention anything about orientation. The top has a smaller distance to the end from the bottom. Pre-drilled holes are only made from one side. None of this is a problem IF YOU DO IT! I have quite a bit of experience assembling furniture by mail order, but it took an hour because I kept making mistakes and had to start over. Also: we had a few small bumps where the black paint came off, maybe a millimeter in diameter. . That's not a problem for us, but it will be if you're the kind of person who needs everything to be perfect.
