I think it works very well for me and I like it. It appears to be mostly plastic but feels solid. The screen seems a lot brighter than I expected compared to my 9th gen Fire 7. The interface is fast enough, no stuttering or freezing, certainly much faster than my Fire 7. Quite acceptable for me. I've heard that the similar P80x model has a plastic screen instead of glass and will scratch if you're not careful. So I just ripped off the little paper tab on the included splash guard and left the protective plastic wrap in place. It has the perfect cutout for the front camera. So you do indeed get a nice pre-installed - bubble-free - screensaver, as long as you don't unplug it when you unbox it. There's also a plastic shipping film on the back with speaker and camera cutouts, which is interesting and can also be left on as protection if desired. It should be noted that the version of Android loaded on the tablet is not Android 10 Go. regular Android 10. This is a positive, because it speeds up a tablet with 2 gigabytes of memory, takes up less memory for the operating system and lighter versions of Google apps for Go. But some apps in App Store say "not available" for this device. Some of these apps include Google Podcasts and Starbucks Coffee. Not many uses, but some. I was a little surprised as I had no problem downloading these apps to my phone on the full version of Android 10. But I just chose to accept the Google-imposed Android 10 Go as a limitation, which loads on some tablets with a lower RAM version these days. I also encountered a small annoying problem that for some reason I had to get past the last step of the Google account. Set up application copying to the tablet. I get a message saying the installation keeps stopping. If you see this, just select 'Skip' and complete the setup. Then install the apps yourself. Then change the time zone from Beijing to your US time zone. After that, the setup goes smoothly.
