Review on 🧦 Fox River Outdoor Wick Dry Alturas Superior Lightweight Liner Socks by Jason Dahlkemper

Make sure you know what you are buying and how to wear them.

.then you will not be disappointed. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews. Some people expect these socks to keep their feet warm in sub-zero temperatures. For real? Others think that this sock magically protects their feet from sweat. The? In addition, there are those who complain that the sock lacks cushioning. Serious!? I've worn liners on hikes and backpacking trips for decades. I've tried every brand available and they all work pretty much as intended. Lightweight lined socks are primarily designed to provide a sliding surface between the outer sock and the boot, reducing friction and therefore the likelihood of foot blisters. The Ultra-Lightweight Liner Socks are just VERY VERY light, ie. extremely thin. They will not isolate or soften. They do not compensate for ill-fitting boots or boots with insufficient ventilation. As for the quality of these socks, they are excellent. Just don't grab them at the top and put them on like a thick outer sock. They're thin, treat them appropriately and they'll last a long time. I roll them down my leg the way my wife makes sheer stockings. Also trim your toenails. Remember, no matter how careful you are with these socks, they are flimsy and you will need to replace them from time to time as they snag and stretch at the top. I get lined socks for 3 to 4 years and wear them moderately often. Also remember to leave the seam with the raised tip on the outside.
