Firstly the clamp set comes without lock washers. I have no idea what would keep it securely tightened over time except hopes and dreams.Secondly the thread and nut combination is so loose that the nut moves nearly an eighth of an inch left to right.I dug up some non - stainless lock washers and put the clamp on with minimal tightening force to avoid stripping the threads. This was intended to be a permanent install but now it is an emergency fix at best. Hopefully it will hold till I can get to the auto store and get a good clamp. Come on folks, it's an exhaust clamp. How hard can it be to get that right.Big waste of money and time.
