what a beautiful light. Before that, I had one of those standard round ceiling lights that just looked crappy and didn't complement the hallway at all. I recently renovated my apartment and installed new parquet floors. The design of this lamp was perfect for me. Noble but modern. I haven't had a chance to buy bulbs yet, but I recommend adding vintage or classic bulbs as it adds a nice touch to the style of this light fixture. You can also set the light up flush with the ceiling or do what I did and "float" it about half an inch off the ceiling. Installation was easy, 2 wires, black and white which are pretty standard. I would recommend.
