Advantages: - made of thick plastic - most dinosaurs stick together without screws (legs and arms are an exception) - there are additional places to screw screws is not necessary - each dinosaur comes with 2 extra screws (total 6 extra) - limbs, tail, jaws and head are adjustable even after the screws are inserted - there is a standard safety screw in the drill's battery compartment to prevent children from playing with batteries - A small hand screwdriver is included with each dinosaur - Instructions are clearly written - Screwdriver uses a simple two button forward and reverse system and Phillips and flat head dies - Comes with a storage pouch. - Adult help is required for initial assembly. - Junior builders need assistance using a screwdriver and drill, and adjusting arms and legs. I'm sure older builders won't have this problem. My 3 year old loves it as he is a builder at heart. He needs a lot of adult help as he is not coordinated enough to insert the screws and align the drill without knocking the screws out of the holes. Nonetheless, he is in love.
