Firstly this isn't a 50 watts per channel amp, it's probably more like 15-18 watts if you're using an 8 ohm speaker which you probably have. Now that it's ruled out. It's an amazing piece of engineering to squeeze so much sound out of such a small amp. But this isn't the A/B booster most people are used to. It's a Class D amp. That means it has virtually no headroom. So if you listen to music with loud transients, such as classical music or especially piano music, you will miss this dynamic power. Simply put, the amp goes from poor sounding to extremely high distortion/clipping VERY quickly (within a fraction of an inch of volume change). So if you want to hear this for the office, the bedroom and at modest levels. this will work great. Just see what its possibilities are. Get the 100 watt version of the channel if you want to listen to it loud every once in a while. I spent $400 on a 20 watt AIWA system the day I was a kid. This amp with $50 speakers and a smartphone DIFFERS this system in every way. When it comes to inflation, we're probably talking about a quarter of the price of this system. Wow, this technology is amazing
