Bentonite Clay and Associated Lead Are Harmless

Let's verify that lead claim, shall we? Unless you're a chemist (and I'm not), nobody knows what combined lead is. Google it. Be careful what you consume. It occurs naturally in bentonite clay. Bound lead - which is not the same as the unbound lead in very old lead paint - penetrates your body harmlessly because it is bound. This is the same lead found in food vegetables like Brussels sprouts, which contains 15 times more lead than this toothpaste. Because vegetables, like bentonite clay, come from lead soil. So do your research. Why does this toothpaste knowingly contain (and label) toxic lead? It's pointless. Think about it. Now the actual assessment. Taste is ok. Salty minerals like mint Vegemite. Of course, more mint is needed. But be careful how much you use because the flavor can be overwhelming. I use a small amount, like a few grains of kosher salt. I dip the brush directly into the glass. I really appreciate the environmental friendliness of this product. I love how natural the toothpaste is and how recyclable and reusable the jar is. Aside from the lid - plastic lids are not recyclable where I live. If the lid were metal, it could be fully recycled.
