I used this waterproof seat cover on a 400 mile bike ride from Buffalo, NY to Albany, NY along the Erie Canal. We only had 1 day and 1 night of rain in an 8 day trip. It keeps the seat dry overnight while driving and parked outside in the rain. I have a Giant brand aftermarket seat with a breathable nylon/polyester seat over seat foam that absorbs water. This waterproof seat cover is a two-layer, drawstring cover that easily covers most road or mountain bike seats. And it's waterproof. I always have it in my shopping cart when I need it. I'm glad I took it with me on the trip!
