Bought this so my sister in law who is a 'little person' can get in and out of our caravan when she is here next month and we glamping walk as her legs are In short, she has trouble with full-length stairs. In the picture you can see the 4x4 "half steps" I added for this. I also added a friction band to keep it in place just in case, although I've found my regular hiking shoes handle the plastic surface well. This step is much stronger than I expected given its ease. and really easy to fold for transport or open for use, take one handle to fold and carry, take another to unfold. My friction band doesn't interfere with folding or unfolding at all.
