Comcast has informed me that in our apartment during the installation (Covid19 timeframe) they can only make one outlet live and it ended up on the opposite side of the apartment from my office. The only way I can access the internet on my work computer (tower) on the other side of the house, according to their technology, is to run an ethernet cable from one side of the apartment, 75+ feet, through to the other side of the living room, dining room and hallway. Not realistic. Here comes the gem - it took me less than 4 minutes to install the Linksys wireless USB adapter and boom, Wi-Fi access to my computer. The perfect solution when a laptop is not enough and you need to use this tower or have other IT problems without a reliable wireless signal. Password protected so don't worry about exposing your WiFi to your neighbors like some other products might.
