Review on 🚲 ANZOME Rear Bike Basket: Metal Wire Bicycle Cargo Rack with Heavy Duty Reflective Black Waterproof Cover - Under Seat Mount for Secure Storing by David Bowens

I use my bicycle for sports and city trips. Because of this, I needed a basket that can be easily removed when I'm not carrying stuff and one that can be quickly added when I need to carry groceries etc. The ingenious mounting system that comes with this basket requires zip ties or screws, neither of which allow for quick removal. However, this basket fits perfectly on the Basil MIK system on my bike rack. I have a standard Bontranger (Trek) luggage rack. You need two parts: the Basil MIK carrier plate and the Basil MIK adapter plate. The carrier plate is attached directly to the bike carrier, while the adapter plate is screwed onto the basket. The basket then simply snaps into place when you need it and, as part of the MIK system, can be removed with a key. One thing to note is that the backing plate is bolted to the rear post, so is semi-permanently attached and cannot be easily removed without tools. This didn't bother me as it's low profile and light weight and I don't use my bike rack for anything other than attaching a basket to carry stuff. The carrier plate is also very well designed, the parts (small vise) that directly grip the bike rack can be adjusted in several ways, both in width and angle, so that the vise that holds the rack rotates, to adapt to different bike rack designs.
