Maybe a little better than Tide or Era
I don't see much difference between this cleaner and Liquid Tide but it works. I run 30-50 miles a week and needed something for my running clothes. I definitely smell this detergent when I put clothes on. I don't like this scent but it seems to do what it's supposed to do, just not totally blow your mind. I'll try linen next - it was sold out when I tried to buy it earlier. The cap is a little small which makes measuring out the detergent a little more difficult than with the large Tide caps I'm used to.
