Bought this to use on our German Shepherd (96lbs) when she was neutered. I used it along with the standard cone of shame that the vet put on our dog. He needed a bump for 10 days. By the third day our dog had completely rearranged all of our furniture with a vet provided cone and I was ready to run away and not tell anyone where I was going. But I removed the plastic cone leaving only this inflatable collar. Peace reigned in our house immediately. The sky opened and bright sunshine poured down. I am very sorry that I did not use only this collar from day one. To inflate, I had a cheap inflatable balloon that I used and it helped inflate it in minutes. My dog is very hyper and rough and this collar stayed inflated and has not broken/punctured it. It's easy to put on, it closes with velcro and its holding power held my tall guy.
