As someone who prefers the doom and gloom of the winter months it's a little surprising that Christmas is right up my alley for the atmosphere. These lanterns capture that atmosphere better than any dollar store's garlands ever did. For a great price and a fraction of the hassle you would get with one of those dozen plus foot cords, they do a great job of lighting up my house. Especially when I want to take a break from the yellow monotony of the floor lamps or the glaring light of the fluorescent lamps. As the title suggests, they are very bright for their size. I wouldn't advise anyone reading with them next to the bed, but they make nighttime navigation very easy. Personally, I use them for relief when reading late on my tablet to protect my eyes from screen light strain.
