I have very little space to store my groceries, so I looked for cereal containers no more than 4" wide, about four containers on a 16.75 " wide shelf. The picture shows a size 2.4" wide so they should work just fine. But I was misled, the width varies from 4" at the ends to a top width of 5" at the top Center (these bins have a hexagonal base, not a rectangular one).[Actually, a 5"+ center is mentioned in the photo, but that's too easy to miss. The seller should correct the sizes listed in the text descriptions and highlight the photo size labels so you don't miss them!] This is the most inefficient storage container I've come across. hexagonal? For real? Absolutely useless. If I couldn't give it any stars I wouldn't. Don't trust the sizes listed for cereal storage/dispensers; Regardless of the brand, I've found that many of them are different sizes or no sizes at all. Check the feedback or Q&A sections to confirm sizing and review return policies before purchasing.
