Should have 4.5 stars. It's a decent stool, but when I first got it it was quite difficult to open and align properly. It got a little better with use. The castle was also difficult to understand at first. Once you get rid of those little details, this will be a very useful stool. It folds compact enough to fit in a daypack or carry alone. It's pretty comfortable too. The top is wide enough to provide a good fit. Good if you need extra space at the back door or in the kitchen.
