I bought it to work with a 2008 Rclass 320 CDI. The car was great but like all cars it has some maintenance issues. I'm a garden mechanic. I know how to do minor repairs, but I haven't disassembled the engine and I don't know all the terminology. However, I was able to hook this up and read the codes in less than 5 minutes. The codes are very clear and tell you exactly what to check or replace. At $150 it's a good investment. These Mercedes can be expensive to run and I just saved twice as much by not having to replace parts which may or may not be an issue. Update and cable to connect the device to the obd2 port. If you cannot find the SD card, it is already installed in the device. The buttons are very responsive and the device itself works fast. I see a retailer using this device. It's worth the investment for a Mercedes owner because the last time I had my car scanned it cost $160.
