I am a professional tailor and recently bought this chalk because I was looking for something vaporizable (comes with iron and steam). Pros - it arrived on time. I used it on a test fabric before using it on a client and it left no residue. Sharp edges for a clean line on the fabric. Cons: Terrible chemical smell. It has an odor that frankly makes me uncomfortable. Even worse when ironing marked fabrics. I've never had such a tailor's chalk smell, it seems really unsafe. There is no information on the box about the materials used to make this chalk, which worries me a little. After reading the information, I see that the stains disappear quickly, which is not ideal for a tailor like me who has customers' clothes lying around for a while before they can be sewn. Some parts were broken, I wouldn't blame the seller as they might break in shipping. Overall I think I'll try to return this product because the smell really doesn't feel right and I need a product that leaves a mark until I'm ready to sew the clothes.
