Review on ๐Ÿ”จ Titan Tools - Heavy-Duty Scraper 4 by Alex Ferry

it sounds silly compared to other scrapers

At work I remove sealant and silicone all day. I probably use over 1000 blades a month. The first Titan I found was at an auto parts store and was bought on a whim. I haven't used anything else since then. Cheap scrapers with a sliding design will not withstand impact or high pressure and will slide back. Blade. Although this part of the blade is not sharpened, it is thin enough to cut and eventually break these wings. The titanium must use a different metal as I have never broken this part either. All of my replacements involve losing a tool or screw holding the platter to the head. Speaking of screws, that sounds like nonsense. really weigh compared to other scrapers, but the screw is also much better. It's larger, similar in size to a PC case screw (though slightly lower in height), and easy to grip. Sometimes the screw becomes difficult to loosen after several blows to the blade. You will need an Allen key or screwdriver for some smaller head screws and the titanium can still be removed by hand. If it sticks too hard with your hands, the Titan uses a Phillips head screw instead of an Allen wrench to remove it. I prefer it. I've demolished so much paint in my life that I think I used a scraper rather than a spray gun. I cannot agree enough with this brutal tool. It costs a few dollars more by such a wide range. None of the two large hardware stores in the city can match the quality. If you need a scraper for something more serious than removing window decals, buy this one.

Pros
  • heavy duty scraper
Cons
  • something different
