We bought one of these lights to see how we like them. We are renewing all the lighting on our sailboat. Installed the first lamp. Looks great and works. My only concern is that this isn't the kind that lets you change the "lightbulb". Come on, they last 30,000 hours. We have ordered five more to complete the saloon and galley replacement. In short, four out of five were non-functional right out of the box. I spent half a day removing the old headlights and installing new ones only to then remove the new ones and reinstall the old ones. We decided to give him another chance. If one of the replacement devices turns out not to work, we're forced to roll everything up and start over. There's more to come. Update: During dinner, a cruiser mate asked if I'd tried swapping the wires, which I didn't. Received the stock headlights today, but before I smash them I wanted to test this offer out with the original "fancy" headlights. The wiring on the headlights was reversed. Now I'm happy with the result. Now we see how they stand up to the marine environment.
