Difficult to find a new Braun Series 6 shaver head Amazon price was the best I've had for an actual price found in stock. These heads are not covered by the Braun guarantee. These heads are very expensive and hard to come by. $39 a head and Amazon sells a new razor for $82. Braun recommends changing the head every 18 months, but after my head failed at 7 months, I find that the head is now unusable at 18 months. This head is sharp and cuts great, but having cut my old head at 7 months, 18 months is fantastic. I would suggest changing the head every 6 months. Vendors must sell them in packs of 2 or 3 heads.
