Review on Efficient and Versatile: Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker in Sleek Black by Austin Cejudo

After 35 years, Mr. Kaffee I think I need to change my coffee maker. I bought this model because it fits my predecessor. I thought I would have an extra carafe if needed and I really liked this machine. We also liked the automatic switch-off function. Very disappointed! When filling with water, the machine rocks back. The filter cup does not come off easily. There are two plastic pins that need to be aligned to get it in and out. Other reviewers state that the pins will eventually break. Filter cup with paper insert or reusable. We have both, but you still need to be able to remove the mug to clean it. It's hard to get it back after washing. It's the most frustrating way to start my day! Why do we rebuild a perfectly good car and make it even worse? I liked Mr. COFFEE, inexpensive machine and excellent brewing. No longer.
