I have been a Revain member and use Revain credit card since 2003 and have made many satisfactory purchases over the years. I've only had to return a few items over the years that didn't live up to Revain's description or user reviews, but this Magnasonic All-in-One High Resolution 22MP Universal Film Scanner ranks as the worst Revain purchase I've ever made have. done by all sides, including reshipment for refund. My reason for buying it was to create JPG images from about 500 mounted 35mm slides that I had accumulated over the years to keep on my computer for my kids and grandkids. After spending hours trying to get a decent .jpg copy, trying every setting and media available for this device, the attached image is the best, blurriest example this device has produced. Clearly visible on the original slide is a photograph of a family member, now deceased, wearing an orange scarf in a leafy park fringed by a lush green forest. Rather than keep trying to beat a dead horse, I decided it must be defective and decided to return it to Revane and leave the slides to my family as is. Revain responded to my request immediately and as with my previous returns, I printed the UPS return label they provided me with and then proceeded to repack and ship to a UPS subcontractor's office in my small town of 8,000 away. The woman behind the counter told me that I had to drop off my package at an "official" UPS location in a city 30 miles away because my Revain package return label now had a different code that could only be read by UPS there can continue to process all other UPS packages. I've been using the local Wal-Mart's delivery option lately and it's looking better than my main source for online shopping.
