Tried this product on several different aluminum products. I bought to fix some loose rivets on a boat. a well cleaned area that needed repairing and all it does is keep the bead from welding even after heating the areas to different temperatures almost to the point of melting the metal on the boat. I also tried an aluminum can with the same results. However, I was able to solder 2 copper wires with it, so guess what that is. Now I have to drive 15 miles to the nearest pickup location to get a refund
