Expands the devices I can plug in at once
I have a mini lab at home and my surge protector doesn't have enough outlets for all my connected computers, monitors and printers. Also, I needed more ports when I need to upgrade the laptop to ship to the user. This is very handy for giving me more outlets and confidence that I'm a surge protector. I can work on multiple laptops and other devices I couldn't work on without first disconnecting something from the network. I love that it has USB ports so I can charge my phone while I work on the computer without using an outlet.
