Review on Aunt Marthas Ballpoint Painting Replacement by Morgan Gilmore

Just what I was looking for so I can use my ballpoint pen needles for embroidery. I grew up watching my grandma use one of these when she was coloring blocks for her quilts. My only complaint about nHoop is that it's a lot bigger than the ones she used, meaning you have to use a fairly large piece of fabric to hold it firmly in the hoop. As far as blotters go, I'm not impressed. . They appear to be nothing more than white paper towels. They are sufficient as a base between the metal frame and the fabric to be painted. They are not good for getting wet pens as they can tear and the fibers can get into the pen and prevent the ball from rolling. Overall I'm happy with the metal band but not impressed with the blotters.
