Easy to apply, looks good for a quick laundry update. My dryer broke and I had to strip the OLD, HORRIBLE, YELLOWED linoleum in the small (10ft x 6ft) laundry/mastiff closet before letting the couriers in. I wasn't worried about gluing tiles, I used 3M high strength 90 contact adhesive. I first mopped the floor, then hot water to remove the bleach residue, then let the floor air dry for an hour. I sprayed glue on each tile and made sure they fit together snugly. The tiles are very easy to cut with a utility knife, I just cut the tiles from below and click along the cut lines. A $20 tile, $5 spray adhesive and 2 hours of my workday was all I needed. I ordered 3 boxes so now I have 10 full tiles in case I need to replace any. I don't expect this tile to last 10 years, if it lasts 1 year I'm on cloud nine. It's just for the laundry room and I have a 150 lb Great Dane that eats in there. I was very happy that all 3 boxes fit perfectly and not a single tile was damaged. The tile itself was very tacky to the touch (it took some effort to peel off the paper backing) but since this room gets damp I immediately applied the spray adhesive. Some reviews say they used a roller to keep the tiles flat but I just pressed it down and had my son stand on it 1 on 1 for 10 minutes.
