I am 55 years old. Bought this bar set a few months ago. If you are looking for a $30 gift for a 20 year old guy who likes going out to bars he will appreciate this set, I know I would buy it. If you're looking for a $30 gift for a 54 year old who loves to drink but likes to stay home, then you'll love this gift! There are two things I don't like about the set. #1, the shaker sponge is rounded but still pretty sharp. Shakers could be better. #2, no grater/zester, had to be purchased separately. So if I were giving it away as a gift, I'd be looking for a set that already has momentum. And hopefully a smoother cup. Maybe you should just buy the $50 version and move on. I realized that making quality cocktails, especially layered ones, is difficult. Tip for the bartender. No, I'm not a bartender, but after trying these drinks, I realized the beauty of beautiful Sunrise Tequila is worth the extra $2.
