Review on 🧂 OXO Good Grips 2-in-1 Salt and Pepper Grinder and Shaker by Aaron Parish

Revainrating 4 out of 5

2nd Best Salt & Pepper Grinder 2 in 1

I compared 3 grinders on Revain to see which one works best for me and came to this conclusion: Best: Eparé 2 in 1, Salt and Pepper Grinder: B07YXBMS2JGood: OXO 2 in 1 Salt and Pepper Grinder and Shaker: B01N3CMA64Don't Buy: SpiceCrafts Salt and Pepper Grinder Set: B00PID7KAMI compared everything on value, material quality, ease of adjustment, grinding range and packaging. Eparé - This is a real double mill, it had nice packaging as well as very useful illustrations for the instructions. The clear part and steel looked good, no scratches or anything. Filling was very easy, each side unscrews and opens a large jar for filling. The lids also snap onto the sides of the grinder fairly securely. As far as grinds go, I think there's a pretty decent range, it's easy enough to set up, although the OXO design is the easiest of the 3. in a clear bubble mailbox. It had a small label with basic instructions on it as well as some security seals as it was pre-filled with condiments. Personally, I prefer to buy my own spices, but I trust OXO spices. This isn't a true double grinder as the salt is just a shaker, but the pepper is very easy to set up. I would say that their range was very similar to Eparé's coffee grinders. Spicecrafts. The packaging was fine, plain box, no instructions, just a crappy insert that said their warranty. This is another true double grinder but I would say the Eparé is of a much higher quality. The case and steel tips were quite scratched, you can tell their quality control is nowhere near the same as OXO or Eparé. When filling, the function is the same as the Eparé, however the auger on the rail did not match the grinder components and I could clearly see the difference in quality in the transparent container when I held it next to the Eparé. , much thinner walls and not as crisp. When setting the grind it was very difficult, both ends stuck in a more open position and then it was very difficult to make them finer. There was a decent range in the grind, but I wasn't able to adjust often because of the difficulty.
