True size (and I have tested many of them from 18' by 9.5" to 18'11". The post size should 19' by 6" and the 5 foot side is short, 2 to 3 inches compared to 4 to 6. The weave on CCS canvas is much tighter and if you plan on using them for sewing, fray they don't look like other brands. They're oak white in colour. Check them out where a lot of other brands have an off white look. If you plan on painting them like we did we found that they have some kind of finish, which makes painting difficult.If you wash them first, they are very good at absorbing paint
