Great machine, especially at the price of

I love this bread maker! I was a bit doubtful it was Hamilton Beach because it was a Zoj or something, but for less than half the price of a Zoj it got the job done! I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I love it (and so does my family)! I've been baking bread almost every day for the last two weeks. Last weekend I baked 2 loaves of bread a day because I was babysitting with my sisters and kids and they asked for more bread. My first bread, I made a delayed start option. I put all the ingredients in at 10:30pm (you can't use the delay time if the recipe calls for dairy. I still don't know if that includes powdered milk, but definitely eggs or milk) and it was by 8am the next day done. Here are a few tips I learned from it: 1. Delay Start: You need to consider both the baking time and the time before you want the machine to start baking. Example: I put the ingredients in at 10:30pm and wanted them to be ready by 7:30am the next morning. The bake time for this recipe was 3 hours, so 4:30 to 7:30 was bake time and 10:30 to 4:30 was 6 hours, so after selecting the cycle, crust, and loaf size, I set a start delay time. up to 9 hours (waiting time 6 hours + baking time 3 hours).2. Be sure to follow the recipes exactly. The manual and many recipes I've found always say to put the liquids first, salt and sugar, then the flour, then the yeast so the yeast doesn't touch the salt. I am very careful to always pack flour (dry food) and smooth it out when measuring. I made a recipe three times and the third time I made it dipped on top and it was a little harder than the first two loaves. I think I used instant yeast instead of active dry yeast. I'm not a big baker to tell the difference but I think I picked the wrong one and it didn't quite rise. I have bread machine yeast, but I've only used it when the recipe specifically said "bread machine yeast". The paddle is a little difficult to remove, so I noticed that there is a straight edge that should line up with the straight edge on a stick at the bottom of the pan, but I'm still having a hard time removing it. You just have to keep twisting and lifting, sometimes I soak it in water a bit and then try to remove it. Sometimes it's a bit easier, but it's still a bit difficult for me. Also, the hole at the bottom of the bread from the paddle isn't big at all. I heard from some of my friends who had old bread makers that the hole goes through a loaf with a hole. That's not the case. This will probably only be visible on your last slice of bread and is actually not a hole but an indentation in the bread. I don't like that there is no OFF button so I just turn it off.5. It's a bit big on my countertop, but because it's black it doesn't hurt my eyes. I just don't like having too many things on my countertop so I'm still trying to find a place to store them. I love that it has a window so you can see the dough through without opening the lid, but I also love that you CAN open the lid (when the window fogs up from the temperature) without the messing up the process. My kids also love this option as they are so addicted to how the bread is kneaded and risen etc.7. There is some vibration during kneading but when I read about it in the instructions I thought it would be like a bumpy road and it might fall off the countertop but it really isn't. this is bad. Later I will update my post with photos and videos. In general, I love my car a lot so far, just like my family! I love that we don't have to buy bread anymore and I have enough ingredients for about 1-2 weeks (of which I baked bread at least once a day or every other day).
