Review on 🏠 White Mini Vent with 1'' Thick Roofs - Enhanced Manxman Mini by Bill Wieser

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very easy to install

The hardest part was getting our old fan out of the roof of our van. Our original equipment manufacturer put at least 1/4" to 1/2" of rubber grommet over the old bolts and old flange. Great for rain, scraping buttocks. There were literally 28 screws in the old roof vent to find under all that gum goo. After everything was removed, the old vent came out and the new one snapped in place. Only 20 new screws included. Connect the black and white wires, slide in the inner cover, and all is quiet. Total time to replace the fan was 3 hours but easily 2 or 2-1/2 hours struggling with the old vent's rubber gasket and screws. This new fan whistles a bit at max speed so I gave it 4 stars, not very annoying but we would leave it on lower settings when napping or sleeping. Our old Camco rain covers don't fit the built-in brackets on this new fan, so I've already ordered new EZ-Clip snap-on rain covers. This deff pulls more air and odor out of the RV and is pretty quiet

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive
