Purchased this cover on May 20, 2018. Arrived as expected, nothing wrong. Put this cover on our mattress in September 2018. It's been about 6 months since we put this cover on. Nothing has changed in our bedding except for this bedspread. This morning we noticed an odd oozing stain underneath as seen in the photos. No shedding, no bedwetting, nothing to explain it. As we lifted the mattress, we found our fabric-covered bed was literally rotting beneath us. These covers don't allow anything to breathe, so we suspect moisture from the air is getting in, spreading mold and mildew between the bed board and mattress cover. Absolutely disgusting. I hope our mattress cover is not damaged as it is outside. This mattress is only a few years old until we started using this cover nothing was wrong. Makes me think of all those kids being accused of wetting the bed and ruining the mattresses. in these reviews. You may have gotten into trouble for what was actually a camouflage error. Something is wrong with these caps.
