The stand is very easy to assemble and set up for use. I use it for both the 11-inch iPad Pro and the smaller Kindle tablet. The smaller tablet fits in well both vertically and horizontally. However, the iPad is very well secured both vertically and horizontally, either on its own or in a case as a spring. The clamp is pretty strong. I also plugged in my phone to test, but probably won't use it as the screen is too small. My phone is a Moto X4 which is slightly larger than the iPhone 12 mini. I know this from comparing the specs of both devices as I like small form factor phones. The 12 mini is the smallest on the market today. I use it both at my desk where I sit up straight and on the side of a low club chair while watching TV. It adjusts to a low enough height for easy bedside use if someone so desires. All in all a very good stand durable and well made, it's also light enough to carry around and fits nicely in a bag. Outlook. I am very satisfied with this shelf and can only recommend it.
