Incredibly disappointing

I bought this amp after watching lots of videos and reading lots of reviews about the NS-10G PRO and its earlier iterations. I'm sorry to say that it didn't even remotely live up to my expectations. In all tests in this review, Nobsound was paired with Boston Acoustics A25 speakers. The first thing I tried was Bluetooth. It connected to my computer immediately, which was nice. I quickly noticed that there was a very audible and annoying background hiss that didn't go away when I turned the volume down. Also, the sound quality was just disgusting. It looked like the sound was coming from the bottom of a very deep pit full of dirt. I then connected it using the auxiliary cable that came with it. The background noise was all the worse. I'm not talking about the subtle hiss that can only be heard with the ear up to the speaker. It was at the volume I normally keep my music at. The sound quality with the aux cable was better than via Bluetooth but still very terrible (a little less dirt in the hole), plus more background noise. I've tried a different cable just in case it's causing the background noise, but nothing has changed. I ended up returning Nobsound and got a much more expensive receiver (Yamaha R-N303) which gave me fantastic sound straight away. via Bluetooth. To be honest it seems overkill for my needs. All I really wanted was something that produced a decent sound that made my expensive A25s sound better than the $55 2.1 computer speaker set they replaced. Nobsound didn't even come close.
