This is a very well made panel designed to take heavy loads. This is the base plate. There are no assembly aspects, so this might be an issue for some. You can use staples from the hardware store. Or washers and screws. I agree with others it would be nice if it came with some wires or any connections. But I won't follow the panel because I wasn't expecting any cables, it doesn't say they are included so I don't know why people are giving lower ratings on that aspect. On the other hand, there are multiple ways to connect solar panels, so since they are raw, you can connect them however you like. I don't know why they call it 12V, more like 24V, as you can see I get 22+. volts in the sun. which I am more than satisfied with and most power plants and controllers draw 24 volts without any problems. Overall this is a great panel for the price. So what you need to add wires to is not a big deal.
