Bought this product for a 10 day hike and loved it! It's easy to prep food ahead of time (just mix it up in plastic bags and then simmer it in a small saucepan for about 10 minutes while you eat). The provided menus were a good starting point for meal ideas - I loved each of the dishes I prepared from the suggested menus as well as the ones I created. The "set" has a wide variety of dishes at a great price.
