I don't write many reviews, but when a product is THAT good, you should. I'll give you the details. I'm restoring a 1966 Mustang and after painting, varnishing, wet sanding etc. it's time for polishing. I usually use other 3 step 123 companies but decided to try something different and I'm glad I did. I first made my passes with Clearcut .beautiful. So I went to my usual step 2 BUT that actually did the micro scratches. Yes? So I switched back to Clearcut. nice again No need for machine polish Step 2. Went straight to step 3, micro is fine but to be honest it wasn't necessary. They start out slow, at low speed, and I recommend a rotary polisher, NOT A DA. Make 4 passes in your square. Up-down, left-right, up-down, left-right, then increase speed and PRESSURE by one level. 4 passes. check your work You will have a hard time finding scratches (I soak sand up to 3000). If you find it, do another pass (fresh stuff on the pad). PUF.gone. Micropolishing Step 3 almost seems like a waste of time. I'm not a pro, but I'm a damn good amateur when it comes to cutting and polishing. You should know that I will NOT cut corners on this restoration. So for me to admire it, it's pretty good. One thing. DOES NOT dust. There is no such thing. However, what it leaves behind are dots that are easily erased and not smudged. Try it out and let yourself be surprised.
