They seem pretty good to me

I haven't bought Maverick cards for a long time. As I was once told, their bottom line. Something like Bicycle's Aviators I think. These new ones are made in China, which is what I should have guessed. Like I said, they look really good. but that's not based on scientific data, just a feeling. And that's probably unfair, because the old deck now has a kind of "linen" feel compared to the newer cards, which are smooth. I didn't open all the decks, but the reds and blues I opened have a smooth, clear print. For the money they are worth it. The quality of the cards is above $1 but basically the same price. I've always found them well designed and had nice Western "Mustang" jokers. Both jokers are different, so one of them can be defined as "high wild" approx. rd if you play poker with both in your deck. It's nice to have smooth surface cards in a card case. Sometimes you need a smooth finish. You and the Aviators definitely have that finish. that they are a bit thicker than aviators. It's also worth noting that these cards stink, lol. I can't understand it, but I felt something similar in the garage. Not a bad smell, just not that clean "ahhhh" smell of a new deck of cards. For the average Joe playing cards in an RV? This is A1. I will clarify that they feel and feel stiffer/thicker than the Bees Aviators Hoyle bikes and Tally bikes.
