I am very happy that I bought this monitor for a much lower price than the manufacturer's suggested retail price. I bought it for $1700 versus the usual $2500. I have it and have been using it daily for 3 weeks. Of course it's used, but I honestly can't say. Everything looks new, clean, no dead pixels, everything is fine. My games have never looked so beautiful. Well if I couldn't find it at this price I wouldn't buy it. That's too much for a monitor, and admittedly I wish it was about $500 cheaper. I think $1200 is a great price for him. But if you can afford it, then do it. You will not be disappointed.
