Review on 🖥️ KUMK 15.6" FreeSync 4K Portable Monitor with Built-In Speakers, Wall Mountable & Blue Light Filter by Sam Chandler

Firstly the picture quality is excellent, it's true 4k and very bright. Decent connectivity with working mini HDMI and USB-C inputs. The menu claims to have Freesync support, but I haven't tested that and it says the Mac is trying to send HDR video to it. I don't like the way the picture looks in this mode, so I turned it off. The Mac doesn't supply enough power to keep the screen stable (sometimes works, but not always) so I also connected a separate power cord to it. Overall very happy with the fit, finish and functionality. However, there is one killer hassle. With a monitor connected to a 2019 MacBook Pro either:* directly with a USB-C cable* or with a USB-C to HDMI adapter, then with an HDMI to mini-HDMI cable . When the laptop goes to sleep, a bright, colorful, awkward test pattern appears on the screen, letting me know there's no input signal. I couldn't find anything about this in the menu, so I have to unplug the power cord when I leave the car for a while. I would be happy to find a solution to this, other than that the monitor was great.
