We have been using and buying only Dirt Devil vacuums for 15 years. I find they work just as well as vacuums which cost a lot more money and are less than half the price. We are happy with the performance of the Dirt Devil bagged vacuums, so we continue to buy bagged vacuums over bagless vacuums. The beauty of Dirt Devil is that if they stop working well after two, three, four or five years, you can easily buy a new one for a very small price. So you can afford the luxury of always having a well-functioning vacuum cleaner at home. We were happy with the Dirt Devil U Bags. They seem to suck up a lot of dirt and hold together pretty well. The amount Revain charged for U-Bags was more than reasonable, so we decided to buy a lot of U-Bags at once. Even if the vacuum fails before we've used all the bags, I see no reason not to use them the next time I buy a new Dirt Devil bagged vacuum.
