My wife and I were looking ad nauseam for a mirror for our renovated children's bathroom. In our search, the problem was more of understanding why one mirror is $900-$1200 and another (apparently similar) mirror is $200. Every mirror we tested had an LED light embedded (flush) around the perimeter of the mirror. For some reason (and maybe it was just the "average" price) we chose this one. I am pleased to report that we were very happy with our choice. The mirror was beautiful online and I am happy to report that this mirror exceeded my expectations. If you are interested; yes, it totally reflects! There is no doubt about his ability to reflect. So far everything we put in front of it was just mirrored upside down. If this ever changes I will definitely update my review. But seriously, the mirror is simple, elegant - but somehow daring. clear lines. The edges are not beveled. We hung it horizontally and the kids are in love with both the mirror and their reflections (we didn't raise them for nothing, but alas, here we are). The lighting around the mirror is highly customizable, from VERY bright (Bikini Atoll) to a soft, cool glow (this was for a hallway bathroom and the mirror doubles as an effective night light). The on/off switch is located in the center underside of the mirror and glows blue. There is a "fogging" feature that works pretty well. Installation was "simple" (wing mirror size required a second pair of hands) and everything needed for installation was included. Life of mine is imagining why other mirrors with the same specs and "reflectivity" cost three times as much. We consider this purchase a win. I hope you enjoy it too.
