The stool is strong enough but lightweight once assembled. Includes non-slip bottom pads as well as all tools needed for assembly (including a mini screwdriver) which is a nice bonus. However, it was more difficult than expected and some of the pre-drilled slots were slightly off. In the end, however, they still go well together, so overall it's a decent stool for a child. I haven't tried using it for adults so I don't know how much weight it can reliably carry.
