Review on Exploring the Essence of Posse: A Spotlight on Mario Van Peebles by Christian Poojary

I got this as a Christmas present for a friend and he loved it! He was born in the late 80's so never saw it and didn't know there was a movie about African Americans being made in the Wild West! As a historian and soldier, he was blown away by this film! As for the film itself, I've seen it many times and it's worth seeing. Based on real-life gunslinger Jesse Lee (played by Mario Van Peebles), it follows his journey from the Spanish-American War to his return to his western hometown of Freedomville, accompanied by the diminutive but loyal Little J (Stephen Baldwin). outlaw gang. . , Weezie (played by Charles Lane), Obobo (played by the late Tiny Lester), Father Time (played by hip-hop icon Big Daddy Kane) and Angel (played by Tone-Loc). While I'm sure some of it was staged, most of this story is based on true fact and is shown in the film. Take a chance on this legendary 90's western classic.
